Nutcracker Rouge, the baroque burlesque-ballet I assisted on and draped/built costumes for last summer. I love love love love LOVE this company and the choreographer/artistic director is a sick genius and the designer I worked for is an absolute dream. Can’t wait to work with them again someday.

I draped and built the sleeveless jacket on the guy in the beginning, and some other small stuff here and there.

I was really tanned, I had really long hair. And when I first moved here, you know, McDonald’s immediately became my favorite restaurant and, you know, I started to put on a little weight. I had to wear, like, braces and a headgear. I had an overbite. It was a bad combination of everything and kids on junior high really noticed. there probably wasn’t a night in 6th or 7th grade were I wasn’t fighting tears while going to sleep. I didn’t want to go to school any day, I didn’t want to make it thought the night. I stopped doing my homework, I stopped caring.

I literally had the exact same experience.
